Purchasing VAT-Free

The method of purchasing VAT-free from our website is very simple and is part of the checkout process. All you need to do is make a short declaration about the type of disability. No proof of disability is required.

  1. To purchase VAT-free, simply select the product/s you wish to order as normal.
  2. When you are taken through to the checkout section, there is a simple VAT Exemption form to complete. Simply provide us with this information and the name, address of the person the product is for.
  3. Completing this will automatically deduct the VAT amount from your total price.

According to HMRC, you qualify for VAT exemption if you are chronically sick or disabled you can purchase goods VAT-free if they are for your personal or domestic use. A spouse, guardian or parent is also able to purchase on your behalf and also obtain this VAT relief.

HMRC defines being chronically sick or disabled as a person with a physical or mental impairment that has a long-term and severe effect on their ability to carry out everyday activities or a condition which the medical profession treats as a chronic sickness, or someone who is terminally ill.
