Dimensional Gel Pads

  • Dimensional Gel Saddle Shaped Pads
    These specially-shaped saddle pads are used by manufacturers of disability trikes and bikes to improve comfort and eliminate issues such as saddle sores. They are also used by manufacturers of bikes for non-disabled people.
    They share the same properties and benefits of all Gel Ovations Dimensional Pads. They are made of medical-grade Silicone Polymer designed specifically to have the same physical characteristics as human fat tissue. The softness of the gel stays unchanged at any temperature and when cut, the gel will not flow or leak. It will not dry out like foam.
    The gel pads have a low profile at just ½” (13mm) in height. This maintains the original seating dimensions ensuring the correct seat to floor and armrest height. The cellular design allows air to circulate between the cells to minimise heat and moisture build-up, allows for even pressure distribution and contours to any underlying surface.

    As well as all the properties of 1/2” inch thick Gel, these 1/4” pads are even more pliable, more lightweight with smaller cells making them ideal for smaller lightweight uses.
