Three Easy Ways to Order

Option 1 — Full-Size Tray Tracing (Recommended)

For the greatest accuracy, we recommend providing a full-size tracing of the wheelchair tray.

Simply place a large sheet of paper over or beneath the tray and carefully trace around the complete outline.

Please include:

• Complete outer profile
• User-facing cut-out
• Joystick cut-out (if applicable)
• Left and right orientation
• “USER SIDE” clearly marked
• Tray manufacturer and model (if known)
• Client reference number

The original tracing can then be posted to Gel Ovations for manufacture.

This is our preferred method for complex or bespoke tray shapes and provides the highest level of manufacturing accuracy.

Option 2 — Dimensions and Photographs

Many standard tray designs can be manufactured using detailed measurements together with clear photographs.

Where possible, please provide:

• Overall tray width
• Overall tray depth
• User cut-out dimensions
• Joystick cut-out dimensions (if applicable)
• Any unusual curves or contours
• Clear overhead photograph
• Photograph showing a ruler placed on the tray for scale

Our manufacturing team will review the information and advise if any further measurements are required.

Option 3 – Manufacturer’s Drawing or CAD File

Some wheelchair services and manufacturers already have technical drawings or CAD files for their tray systems.

Where available, these can be emailed directly to Gel Ovations and may provide the quickest route to manufacture.

Once we receive your information, we’ll guide you through the rest of the process.

Step 1 – Send us your tray tracing, dimensions, photographs or technical drawing.

Step 2 – Our manufacturing team carefully reviews the information provided.

Step 3 – If required, we’ll contact you to clarify any dimensions or request additional information.

Step 4 – Where appropriate, we’ll provide a final manufacturing outline for approval.

Step 5 – Your bespoke Dimensional Gel Tray Overlay is manufactured in the UK and prepared for dispatch.
